Castle District and Fisherman Bastion (Várnegyed és Halász bástya) “Sikló”, a funicular railway dating back to the 19th century, takes you up to Budas Várhegy, the Castle Hill, and into the charming Castle District with the famous Fisherman Bastion, the Matthias Church and many museums. Museum of Fine Arts (Szépmûvészeti Múzeum) The Museum of Fine Arts on Heroes’ Square is the largest fine arts museum in Hungary.
Palace of Arts (Műcsarnok) The second museum located on the square, showing seasonal contemporary exhibitions.
Heroes Square (Hõsök tere) This grand and impressive square can be reached from the hotel within 20 minutes by public transport. Surrounded by two museums and with the Millennium Monument as its focal point, you can follow Hungarian history and art through the ages.
The Great Synagogue The largest synagogue in Europe is located in Dohány Street, a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.
Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd) The famous suspension bridge is also within easy walking distance, approximately 25 minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is one of the best known and beautiful bridges in the city, uniting the Pest with the Buda side.
